Here’s a little bit of background on me…
I started photographing weddings back in 2003 as a way to help pay for my degree in Photo-Illustration from Kent State University. That means I’ve been doing this for a long time…but what it really means to you is that I have a ton of a experience. I’ve shot literally hundreds of weddings through the years all over the place: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, Illinois, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and even Hawaii. With all of these weddings under my belt, you’ll never have to worry. I know how to anticipate and capture all of you wedding’s special moments, I know how to make a nervous bride/groom feel comfortable in front of my camera, and I know when to be hands on and when to be a fly on the wall.
I don’t like to put my style of shooting in a box; I’m not just a fashion/editorial or photojournalist shooter. I blend a little bit of everything depending on what’s going on at the moment. I don’t really pose my couples as much as I direct them, which allows emotions to be captured organically. I’m never in the way, but always around making sure nothing gets missed.
